Bio and Speaking Experience: Chris Kane (ACE-A, CCIE) is currently the Systems Engineer Team Lead for the Ohio Valley Region at Arista Networks and has worked in IP networking for over 20 years. Chris is also a founding member of the Ohio Networking Users Group (OH)NUG (www.ohnug.org). He started out as a radioman for the U.S. Navy, learned network engineering and went on to work for companies like Netech Corporation, Cardinal Health, and UUNET. He holds his CCIE and ACE-A certifications. Outside of routing packets, Chris’ hobbies include working outdoors, motorcycles, craft beer, and staying up to date on the lasted networking trends.
Chris is a published author in networking topics with O’Reilly Media, is regular speaker at various industry events and trainings, and has been a guest on the Network Collective podcast.
Crowdstrike Presentation: An Identity-Centric Approach to Real-Time Threat Detection
Bio and Speaking Experience: Ajit Sancheti is VP of Identity Protection at CrowdStrike. Previously, he was Co-Founder of Preempt and has over 20 years of experience in IT security and executive leadership. He also co-founded Mu Dynamics (acquired by Spirent Communications) and held various management roles. Before Mu Dynamics, Ajit was an integral member of the team that developed the industry’s first Intrusion Detection and Prevention system at OneSecure (acquired by NetScreen). Prior to OneSecure, he spent 7 years at Western Digital, holding various engineering and management positions. Ajit received his M.S. in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and his MBA from INSEAD, France.
